In a normal year, Harrow School welcomes more than 10,000 visitors to enjoy historical tours hosted by our very talented Tour Guides. We have a fantastic selection of guides who live and breathe Harrow School. Many of our guides also speak Dutch, German, French and English, allowing us to welcome visitors from around the world.
Harrow School Enterprises offers two main types of tour: private groups of over 10 guests and open Public Tours, held on a Saturday four times a year. Guided tours of the School can be arranged on almost any weekday in term-time or during the School holidays.
Tour guests are taken inside the School’s unique spaces, from the Fourth Form Room, Harrow’s original classroom dating back 400 years, to Speech Room, the boys’ main assembly hall. Tours can also include a visit to the beautiful School Chapel and the War Memorial building, both superb locations with abundance of history. A historical tour of Harrow School usually takes between 90 minutes and two hours.
Tour guests can really make the most of a private tour by adding an afternoon tea package to their experience. This catering option is available to guests who select the 2pm tours. You can speak to a member of our team for more information and prices for this fun addition.
We are excited to launch our new Historical Tour Gift Vouchers. These vouchers can be used throughout the year, on a date that suits you and your family. Harrow School is in north-west London. Harrow-on-the-Hill underground station has direct links into Central London via the Metropolitan Line, and by Chiltern Railway trains into Marylebone Station. We are only 20 minutes by car/coach from the M25, M40, A40, A41 and A1, and 30 minutes from London Heathrow.
