Filming & Photoshoots at Harrow
Harrow School has provided the backdrop to many feature films, dramas and photoshoots over the past 20 years. We have provided the location for films including Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and dramas such as The Crown and Dr Foster, for magazine shoots including for GQ, Vogue, Ralph Lauren, Burberry and Penguin Originals, for commercials and music videos, and the School has been the subject of historical documentaries.
We firmly believe in being a film-friendly venue, and one that offers more than just one location. With 300 acres of countryside in north London, and a large variety of buildings dating between 1615 and 2011, we have a location for every occasion.
The School has its own unit base for up to 100 cars, and it is only a 15-minute ride from Baker Street to Harrow on the Hill on the Metropolitan Line.
We also have lots of classrooms and other rooms that can act as green rooms, dressing rooms and for make-up etc. for larger scale productions.
It is very important to note that we are a school, so availability is limited, but we do have 18 weeks a year in which filming can take place. We like to create long-term relationships with location managers who understand the heritage and culture associated with such a historical space. Please view our location gallery to see some of our spaces.
