The Virtual Tour is hosted on Zoom or Teams. It starts right at the very beginning, looking at how Harrow School was created by a Royal Charter granted to John Lyon. Our guides have extensive knowledge of the School’s 360-acre site with it’s historical and modern buildings, and of daily life at Harrow: its traditions, sports, day-to-day routines and curriculum. This tour also covers the School’s role in the two World Wars.
Specific-interest tours can also be arranged. Additional charges may apply.
Virtual Tours last one hour. The tour itself takes 45 minutes, with 15 minutes for Q&As.
The Virtual Tour can be booked year round.

Private Guided Tours
Guided tours of the School can be arranged on almost any weekday in term-time or by special arrangement in the School holidays. Tours begin between 10am and 11am or between 2pm and 3pm. Visitors will be shown buildings that are representative of the oldest in the School, its expansion during the 19th century, and later modern developments.
The standard tour lasts about 90 minutes. Longer and more bespoke tours are available on request. Tours begin outside Speech Room, with directions sent to you after you book.
Make the most of your tour by adding a catering package such as a Champagne Afternoon Tea or Tea and Scones in the School dining hall.
