Course Outline
Aim
- The revision course is designed for students who will be sitting the AQA and OCR A2 Physics A examination in the summer of 2012. The course is not suitable for the OCR’s Advancing Physics and the AQA Physics B specifications. The course will cover the whole of Unit 4 and the compulsory part of Unit 5 of the AQA A2 Physics A course. It will also cover the whole of A2 Unit G484 and most of A2 Unit G485, but not Medical imaging and Modelling the universe, of the OCR Physics A course.
- The emphasis of the course will be on examination technique and the consolidation of basic principles and facts.
- Specimen paper questions and questions from past papers relevant to the new A2 Physics course will be worked through and examiners’ mark schemes will be provided.
- The A2 revision course will run for 18 hours over 3 FULL consecutive days and the detailed content of each day is shown below.
