Residential accommodation
Please treat the information on this page AS A GUIDE ONLY. Updated details will be available from the first week of January 2009.
Harrow School has excellent facilities. Students can stay in a single study-bedroom in one of our eleven boarding houses, and all meals are provided in the School's Shepherd Churchill Dining Hall.
The advantage of being resident on an Easter Revision Course is that you can be focused on your studies for the duration of your course. There are supervised study periods in the evening to enable you to concentrate on revision without distraction. Staying on the Hill during your course also cuts down on travel time, giving you more time to relax between study periods and lessons. There is also the bonus of being able to socialise and relax with fellow students in the latter half of the evening when study is over.
Residential students have access to Harrow's top quality sports facilities, including a weights room, tennis courts, swimming pool and squash courts. Students intending to make use of the facilities should bring their own rackets etc. Time for sport is, however, limited as classes and studying take up most of the day.
The cost of five nights at full board is £205 in addition to your course tuition fees.
Students booking residential courses for both weeks will pay only £490 and their fee
will include a full day excursion, details to be confirmed on booking.
Residential students should arrive on the evening before their courses start so that they have time to settle in.
If you wish to arrive on the first day of your course, you must allow sufficient time for registration and must realise that you may not be shown to your room until the end of the first teaching session.
On departure, residential students must clear their rooms by 9am on the last day of the course. Secure storage is provided for baggage until departure time. Students resident for both weeks are not expected to clear their rooms between courses.
