Which Course?

There are three different types of Multi-Activity course: ArtBlast, SportsCrazy, and StageStruck. All three courses include the many varied activities which children love but each one focuses on a particular area of interest to provide children with a specific set of new skills based on something they really enjoy, such as Art, Sport, or Drama & Music.

Each day includes a wide range of exciting activities. Every minute of the day is occupied and even if the weather is wet the programme can be transferred to our extensive indoor facilities. Additionally, each week features a theme, which is reflected in all activities. The themes for this year will be Adventure, Animal, Historic, Pirates and Futuristic.

In the mornings, all students will attend a variety of sports, such as archery, climbing and swimming. The afternoons are reserved for their options. Excursions are also included each week - on Sundays (full day excursion for residential students only) and on Wednesdays afternoons for all. Please check our sample timetable.

ArtBlast activities

This course gives children the opportunity to use different mediums and widen their artistic wings. Past activities included making animal print T-shirt designs, Roman frescoes, plastic jewellery and papier maché treasure chest. They were also involved in creating props for the StageStuck show. At the end of each week, children’s work was exhibited for parents to view on the Friday afternoon.

StageStruck activities

Try imagining a world of pirates, a royal queen or perhaps a jailer from the Tower of London. How might they act and what might they do? Each week, children create their own play using improvisation and character creation techniques. A Show is put on for parents at the end of the week.

SportsCrazy activities

Children attending the SportsCrazy course will be coached in tennis, golf and soccer by qualified sports coaches.

SportsCrazy allows children not only to enjoy an active schedule but to be coached by qualified sports coaches in two sports. They will have the opportunity to reinforce their skills as well as learning new ones. The choice of sport depends on the week chosen. Please refer to our Fees & Dates page for more information.

If your child is coming with friends, we can group them together as long as we are notified in advance. For contact sports such as soccer and fencing, we take your child’s age into account when arranging the groups.
